Description
Thermobreak Solar is an Electron beam polyolefin foam faced with factory applied reinforced foil. Boasting its innovative design, Thermobreak Solar contains a 6mm highly heat resistant internal layer, which acts as a protective barrier between the pipe and the insulation. Thermobreak Solar has an operating temperature of 160˚C with an intermittent temperature of 190˚C. Thermobreak Solar is set apart from other similar products currently available on the market.
Thermobreak Solar is available in 2 metre lengths, non slit for easy slide on application, but can be slit easily with a sharp knife when retro-fitting. Like Thermobreak Tube the 2mtr length size benefits the end user, allowing for less joints, saving on labour costs and consumables. Thermobreak Solar has a density of 25kg/m3 (foam only), which gives it greater flexibility, whilst still being tough and durable. The lower density also allows Thermobreak Solar to have one of the best thermal insulating properties available on the market.
